Annual Planning - meeting notes

Posted on Jun 20 2020 - 9:46pm

SPL Edwin M. and his PLC met on Saturday to begin planning the new Scout year starting in August 2020. They are finalizing the list of activities. The focus is on outdoor events, including camping, white water rafting, hiking, biking, climbing and back packing. During the rainy months, activities will include an escape room adventure, indoor archery, bowling, service projects, and an emphasis on completing requirements for advancement. Each PLC member will be in charge of planning at least two events, and we will need adult volunteers to assist with each activity.

We will be posting events on the troop calendar as they are confirmed. Every activity will be scout lead, with a YPT adult for back up and assistance. Watch for the adult sign up sheet so you can volunteer to work with the scouts to plan your favorite activity.
